Eton was inspected by Ofsted in October 2009.

The overall quality rating was judged to be ‘outstanding’.

The purpose of Ofsted inspections, carried out under the Care Standards Act 2000, is to assure children and young people, parents, the public, local authorities and government of the quality and standard of the service provided.

A judgement of ‘outstanding’ means that the provision is of exceptionally high quality.
