Vladimir Pozner

Vladimir Pozner, the number one interviewer in Russia, managed to squeeze a visit to Eton while passing through London.

He was talking about the “West’s” deep rooted fear of Russia and attempted to describe why this may be. He explained the strange way in which the West find it hard to understand how the Russian people look the same as say the French, British or Americans, but are in fact totally different in character. The subject of whether Russia or America was more spiritual came up and provided great amusement. He emphasised his strong belief of seeing free speech as a responsibility as much as a right.

It was very easy to see why Mr Pozner is such a great public speaker, and he had the whole room on the edge of their seats throughout.
